Fresh off a massive sold-out European tour with Anastasia and the release of her empowering single ‘Better Than This,’ Casey McQuillen is stepping beyond the stage to make a meaningful impact. She’s proudly been announced as a new advocate for the leading global youth charity Ditch the Label, kicking off a powerful new chapter.
In line with her fearless anti-bullying advocacy, this partnership highlights that Casey is more than just a singer known for crafting emotionally resonant hits – she’s a committed changemaker, using her platform to help others avoid the challenges she once faced growing up. The ‘You Matter Series’, influenced by her experiences with bulling, raises awareness and uses music as a positive platform. The impactful concert series has appeared at more than 200 middle and high schools, reaching over 50,000 students across the US, UK and Ireland, and was recognised by the UN Foundation and featured on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
Now, her fearless voice is set to make a greater impact as she teams up with Ditch The Label. Their confidential support mentors have helped young people between the ages of 12-25 all over the world navigate mental health issues, anti-bullying, identity and relationships – personal topics that are covered in intimate, relatable songs such as ‘Skinny,’ a raw, honest portrait of struggling with body image within the public eye.
Casey shared her delight over the collaboration“I’ve spent years touring schools across the U.S. and Europe, performing my anti-bullying concert series and connecting with students about confidence, kindness, and self-worth. That’s why I’m so proud to officially partner with Ditch the Label, an organization that shares my mission to empower young people to stand up against bullying and embrace who they are. Together, we’re amplifying a message that’s more important now than ever: you are not alone, and you are enough.”
Ditch the Label is a global youth mental health charity supporting young people aged 12–25 to navigate the most complex and personal challenges they face, from mental health and identity, to bullying, relationships and social media. They offer safe, supportive digital spaces where young people can be themselves, find connection, and access expert-led support. In a world that too often amplifies harm, judgement and exclusion, they offer something different: empathy, empowerment and community. Every month, over 21,000 young people access our online forums and therapy services. Their wider campaigns and content have reached more than 180 million people globally.
