We managed to catch up with David as he talked about the upcoming release and more!

So how pumped are you for the release of Rise?

I’m very excited. It’s my first solo project so I can’t wait to get some feedback.

Can you tell us something about the album no one else knows?

I wrote most of the songs in the early AM or some might consider the middle of the night. I often wake up at 3 AM feeling inspired.

What’s the alternative scene like in South Jersey?

I am still looking for it really. I don’t mean to sound negative but it seems inSouthern NJ its a lot of musicians playing covers. Hard to find bands who play original music in South Jersey IMO.

Do you find it different playing solo rather than in a band?

I find it the perfect situation for me. I love to be in charge of every aspect of the music. I feel like being in a band held me back, maybe it was the particular bands members I worked with at the time. Now I feel like nothing can hold me back!

What was the first gig you ever attended?

I saw a Judas Priest cover band in LaPlata Maryland at 15

Any new tours in the works?

Now that the album is finished, I am working on putting a new band together. We are finalizing a few events for this summer so stay tuned. My dream is to play in Europe!
