King Nun Share British Music Embassy Session

Back in March, King Nun were one of a handful of acts selected to take part in the British Music Embassy Sessions, a series of live-streamed performances hosted by the British Music Embassy and its partners in the wake of the cancellation of SXSW.
Their full set, including singles ‘Bug’, ’Chinese Medicine’ and ‘Black Tree’ plus brand new cut ‘Escapism’ is available to watch in HD with MQA sound here: https://www.mqa.co.uk/mqa-live/bme-sessions/king-nun

The band’s trip to SXSW was to follow a whirlwind 18 months which saw the Londoners release debut album ‘MASS’ via Dirty Hit – described by NME as “The flag in the ground of a band who emerged as – and remain – brutal and brilliant in their honesty” – support artists including Foo Fighters, Black Flag and Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, and complete a run of UK and mainland European headline dates, leading Rolling Stone to praise them as “An energetic racket that sounded like nothing else on the bill”, Kerrang! to remark on their “Delicious layers of distortion and noise” and DIY to describe frontman Theo Polyzoides as “A walking amalgamation of such icons as Richard Hell, Gerard Way, Richey Edwards, and a real dab hand at entertaining a room.”
