Tom Grennan, Lewis Capaldi, Swim Deep and HEX and more celebrate Dr. Martens Presents 2018

The recent Dr. Martens Presents tour consisted of 8 shows, in 8 cities, in 8 days. The tour was a celebration of the most exciting voices and sounds in modern British music, championing those who do things differently and stamp their own mark on culture in the process. 60 lucky attendees at each show were able to witness Tom Grennan, Lewis Capaldi, Swim Deep, Bad Sounds, Hex, King Nun, Young T & Bugsey and The Ninth Wave in the most intimate settings they’ll ever see them play.

Dr. Martens Presents kicked off in Cambridge with the Scottish singer/songwriter superstar, Lewis Capaldi getting the crowd fired up before his sold-out show later that evening playing favourites ‘Lost On You’ and ‘Grace’.

The tour then moved on to Nottingham, where hometown hero, HEX brought his unique style of R&B and Afrobeat to an exclusive group of die-hard fans. From there, another incredible homecoming show as indie starlets Swim Deep played Birmingham for their first show in the city since 2015.

60 lucky fans in Brighton then had the opportunity to catch one of 2018’s biggest stars, Tom Grennan up close and personal, fresh off the back of his sold out show at the Brixton Academy.

In Bristol, Bad Sounds put on the kind of electrifying performance that there are quickly becoming renowned for, and in Glasgow, 80’s gothic post-punk outfit The Ninth Wave proved to audiences why they’re one of Scotland’s hottest prospects.

King Nun brought their raucous indie-punk to Newcastle for a blistering set that launched their brand-new EP, and finally Young T & Bugsey showed their avid Leeds fans why they’re being tipped as one of rap’s hottest breakthrough acts of 2019.
