Interview: Hearts & Hand Grenades

So how has your latest album/EP gone so far with fans then?

Our latest EP ‘Adrenaline’ is scheduled to be released on May 1st, 2020. But, one of the songs has been getting radio player as sort of a teaser before release. The buzz surrounding it so far has been amazing. We are getting such positive feedback regard the song ‘Turning to Ashes’ and we are very excited for the official release coming up.

Tell us something about the release no one knows?

We’ve got some cool videos coming along with some of the songs at release time. Shh!

If you could work with any band on a new song, who would it be and why?

I think it would be Avatar. We saw them a couple years back at the Carolina Rebellion in North Carolina for the first time. They were amazing with their theatrical stage show and overall presence. I think if we joined forces, we could create one hell of an amazing piece of hard rock and metal song.

How has your latest release been received?

It still has yet to be released officially on May 1st. A very select few individuals, radio personalities, journalists, etc have heard it up to this point and they have all said they love it. We can’t wait to get it in the hands of our fans and hopefully we will acquire a lot of new fans along the way. ‘Adrenaline’ is almost here.

Can you tell us about the meaning behind the track?

The theme of this EP is high energy, fast paced, and just pure rock. Each song tells a different story. ‘Adrenaline’ is all about needing the energy, needing the ‘fix’ that keeps us all going. It’s a true testament to the band for our need to create this high-octane music. It’s our adrenaline, it’s our drug that keeps us going if you will.

What tours do you have coming up, and what can you tell us about them?

We currently do not have a tour scheduled. As soon as the Covid-19 issue is behind us, we are going to look at scheduling a tour and getting out on the road. We love playing live and we look forward to bringing our live show to the fans as soon as possible.

What venue are you most looking forward to playing the most, and why?

We currently have a show at a place called Rock the Barn. It’s a huge outdoor venue and it gets super packed over the two-day event. There is a very large amount of hard rock fans that attend this event. We will certainly be able to rock out and also gain some new fans who don’t really know us yet. It is a charity event as well, so we are happy to play for a great cause at the same time.

What else can we expect from in 2020?

After our release of ‘Adrenaline’ on May 1st, we are going to ride that wave for a bit. We’ve already got some music in the works and have studio time already booked to record it. We are hoping to put out another three EP releases this year. Along with that, we are looking at going on tour. We are very excited about the things to come.
