Introducing: Shape Of Water

Shape Of Water define themselves Art-Rock.With a rich vein of progressive, modern and classic alt-rock stamped into their DNA, they cite Queen, Muse, Radiohead and Audioslave all as major influences in fashioning their expansive sound. Their music may be difficult to categorise, but it is easy to embrace and adore. Shape Of Water are sure to turn heads as they released their music video for ‘The World Is Calling Me’.

The video has been filmed in Manchester in collaboration with Samsara Collective and directed by Kai Ohio. The story is about love, racism, zombies and different ways to see things around us.

Although the video has its own meaning, the song actually talks about war and the supremacy of the Great Powers that ‘spread democracy with falling bombs’.

The band formed in Manchester in 2018 and built a steady fanbase throughout the Manchester area, playing several shows as headliners or supporting artists such as the Italian singer songwriter Colapesce and the American rock band Radkey.

Shape Of Water are currently working on their first full length album with Paul Reeve (Muse) at the helm. They have just released their first EP on the 1st  of March. The release includes their main single and title-track ‘The World Is Calling Me’ and 4 songs produced by Reeve, David R.Jones (Heaven’s Basement, Jordan Allen) and S.O.W. themselves. With further singles and an upcoming shows in the UK, Shape Of Water are here to take over your world.
