Interview: End Of Daze talk upcoming single

Critically Acclaimed by Metal Hammer, South Coast Titans End of Daze are set to release yet another music video for new single ‘Embers’ from their long awaited second album!

This song features some of the fastest riffs and catchiest chorus’ of the entire album. We had an absolute blast shooting with Shaun Hodson ‘Loki Films’ in old abandoned WW2 tunnels in Dorset for 14 hours straight on a cold Winters day.

The single drops this Friday on the 22nd Feb!

We managed to catch up with the band as they talked about their upcoming single and more!

So how pumped are you for the release of Embers?

We are ridiculously pumped, it’s almost a little silly. This track is one of our favourites off the second album and it absolutely slams. The riffs are heavy, the solos are insane. It’s fast, it’s catchy and certainly different to the rest of the singles we have released thus far.

Can you tell us something about the single no one else knows?

The song was co written by our good friend and record producer Pash Stratton. The dude is seriously an absolute wizard with music.

How did you come up with the idea of filming it in old abandoned WW2 tunnels?

Our guitarist Wynter, used to live nearby and we were all frantically struggling for a location where we could get away with using pyro. Something a little different to the traditional band in a room. He joined a band call and presented the idea. We were in love.

Will you be releasing an EP/Album this year?

We will be releasing our long awaited full length second album this year.

If you could with any band on a new song, who would it be and why?

I think it’s gotta be one of two people. Our dream collaboration would be with in our opinion metalcore’s coolest: Winston McCall, following in close second has to be Danny Winterbates though…

Will you be touring at all in 2019?

Oh for sure. We plan to go intercontinental in a massive way this year. Keep your eyes peeled.

What do you get up ton in your spare time when not working on music?

We all work really hard and our other hobbies keep us busy. Wynter is a recording engineer, Jack is currently working with members from Our Hollow Our Home on collaborations, Jason is really into his photography etc!
