Check out Shatter below!

We managed to catch up with Angello and Anthony as they talked about their recent album, new music, fans and more!
So how has the release of Dreaming in a Way gone?
Anthony: Well first off  the album release show of “Dreaming in a Way” was awesome. Not only where we able to pull a large amount of our fans  out to the show, a lot of first timers were able to experience us live. That was extremely important to the launch because it expanded the Liquid Spiral family instantly. Overall the album has been getting extremely positive responses and we are all very happy about that.
Would you say this is different from your previous releases?

Anthony: This Album was very different because it showed what Erick on the bass, and me on the Vocals had to bring to the table. The songs were also made to be radio friendly unlike our last release. The crazy thing is that with three extra songs on Dreaming in a Way, it still was very close in length to our previous release. That just goes to show how much we compressed the tracks.

What is your favourite track from the album?

Angello: For sure “Shatter”! We wanted to keep a classic rock style song, but keep the edginess that Liquid Spiral carries. I think the song just came out just as we were hoping for, and I am really happy about the composition.

How much time and effort was there to make this album?

Angello: About Half of 2016 we were trying to compress our songs like Anthony said before. We also wanted to make it more colorful using effects and different styles than before.

Are you still working on new music?

Anthony: We are constantly working on new material, at the moment we are actually holding off till after December to gig again. We are taking that time to write new material and get tighter as a band. We always want to bring something new to the table, it keeps things interesting.

Will there be a tour soon?

Angello: Yes 100%, that was actually the plan after releasing the Album. We came to the conclusion that we would wait till after December to set up a tour. This decision was made so we can write new material keeping things fresh, on top of promoting the new album of course.

Would you ever consider touring in the UK and Europe?

Angello: Yes we would, a lot of the influences we share as a band came from those regions. I think we would actually attract a big fan base in those areas because of our music style.

How much does you fans mean to you that contributed to making the album?

Anthony: Our fan base was the core of this project making us reach our kickstarter goal and making it possible for us to finish production. We could not be more grateful for the fans we have, they are family to us!

If you could work with any artist on a song, who would it be and why?

Angello: Most likely Incubus. Incubus is a band that was an influence to all the members in the band. Because we come from different backgrounds of music we don’t share all the same influences. Incubus is one of the few bands that we were all influenced by.

What has been your proudest moment to date?
Anthony: Probably the album release and finishing the album. It was great getting the long awaited album out to our loyal fans and hearing their response to it. The album release party was just fun as hell! Seeing all of our supporters and playing the full album live was just a really cool experience for us and the crowd. We could not have asked for a better release party!
