Formed of Aree (Vocals), PJ (Guitar), Chris (Bass) and Dave (Drums) Atlanta’s punk and rock ‘n’ roll group AREE AND THE PURE HEART have released their new EP Heartsongs in physical form via Bearded Punk Records.

So where did their inspiration come from? Well musically “Heartsongs” is an interesting blend of songwriting in true Springsteen / Gaslight Anthem spirit with a hint of Laura Jane Grace. When you hear Aree’s story and listen to his lyrics, it’s hard not to be impressed.
