Green Screen Kid
Three piece pop-rock group Green Screen Kid have been slowly making their way up the music ladder of late. With the new single Wild Like Hearts going down like a storm, you can only wonder what the Wisconsin guys have got in store for fans in the coming years. The lads will play Main Street Music Festival in their own state on 30th July before a series of dates where they will end up in their hometown Appleton for Octoberfest on 24th September. You can listen to Wild Like Hearts below.
I managed to catch up with drummer Alex Dosdos who talked about the latest release, fans, inspirations and more!
How has the release of Wild Like Hearts gone?
Very well! The response has been nothing but positive. There has been a lot building up the this release, and we are happy to finally give back to the fans that have been supporting us and waiting for new music!
Are you looking forward to hanging out at Warped tour this year?
Definitely! To be honest, we wish we were actually performing this year…but we love watching bands and meeting other music fans so we are so stoked to be there!
What would you say to your fans that go to gigs and buy your music?
I would like to say thank you! We are a small band trying to do big things, so every person who supports us makes a difference and it means the world to us.
What music inspires you guys?
Lots of bands; core influences being Muse, 30 Seconds to Mars, Twenty One Pilots, One Ok Rock, and All Time Low.
Where would you like to see yourselves in 5 years time?
We would love to be on the same level of recognition as the artists we look up to.
Are you looking to make new music this year?
Yep, already writing new songs as we speak 🙂
Have you got any tours planned for this year?
Nothing announced yet.
