A Heart Full of Hate

Solitary – (adjective)being, living or going alone.

Hatred – (noun) extreme dislike, aversion, hostility.

These words hold power, they are at opposite ends of the definition spectrum, yet they equal each other in effect, influence and impact.
Solitary – from oop bastard north- have been round the block a fair few times, any attempt to underestimate their knowledge and test their candour will be met with you getting speared through the coffee table. The very one you were saving carefully in order to set up a footloose and fancy-free mosh when you press play on this little blighter.
What I have for you my friends, is a CD full of ‘Hatred xXx’ a Thrashfest that will have you leaping and bounding and frolicking gaily like a gazelle who escaped being shredded by a cheetah.
The menu is full-bodied; it is fully loaded and charged to the hilt with tidbits that are rammed down your oesophagus at a speed that is rarely experienced by humankind.
Solitary is Rich Sherrington – vocals/guitar, Roy Miller – drums, Gareth Harrop – bass and Andy Mellor on lead guitar and they are here to hold court at a time when it is absolutely necessary.
Beginning with ‘The Disappeared’ quite frankly I wish I could sometimes, we celebrate our scene, we are invigorated by its presence and its very existence. Ideal for those solitary creatures amongst us, and for those who prefer to share the love a bit more fervently.

The songs have been selected from five albums, not sure how they did that, but thank dog that they did.

‘Failed by promises made, as hope slips away, we’ve been undermined’

Dark times will entertain dark thoughts and, in some cases, trigger even darker consequences.

The actions of those today ignite moral condemnation, we ‘Abominate’ their deeds, but it is not enough. The fire is too ferocious and too intemperate; the Solitary lens is tarnished by perversion and criminality from those we were told to trust.
Join our friends as they preside over ‘Bitterness’ and ‘Hatred’ that has been allowed to assume responsibility.
We experience the coldest and most inhospitable attributes of our nature set to arrangements and compositions that are unyielding. These are the times when you need to be told and then need to be told again. What should be a tale of succeeding in life, with everyone given a chance, it turns out we are now in a race to the bottom, with the slipperiest, slimiest characters ever to disgrace our table.

The day we hold a ‘Requiem’ for the miscreants can’t come fast enough. This is the record that will be played on that joyous occasion.
An empty, vacuous space, where you steep in your own thoughts, can only spell trouble. To take time out alone is acceptable but remember to rejoin your fellow humans once you’ve recharged, we need you here, restored and rejuvenated in the fight against the diseased heart of society.
