Stuart Styron – Fascinate Styron111

The timeless music album „Fascinate Styron111“ was released worldwide on all music platforms on August 20, 2025. Composed, recorded, and produced by Stuart Styron in 2007. A hidden gem from the archive. Soundtrack elements, as well as rock, pop, and electronic music can be heard in the compositions. An analog music production, recorded solely on MD (MiniDisc).
How does it work? First, the keyboards were recorded pure in combination with a synthesizer. In one continuous take, without editing. This recording was saved directly to a MD. In the next step, the MiniDisc with the keyboard/sythesizer recording was played back, and the guitar was recorded onto it. Here, too, pure played guitar in one take and without editing, continuously. Than the recording of the keyboard/synthesizer and guitar were recorded onto a second MD. Than the recording from the second MD were played back again, and the vocals were recorded pure onto it, on a third MD. The vocals were recorded live, pure in one take, without editing. The distorted vocals come from a second microphone, which was sung and recorded at the same time with the main vocals.
Everything seems more organic and natural. A music album that has been mixed and edited multiple times, or that wasn’t even produced by the artist themselves, loses its true character and the ghost. The recording should also be recorded as it is, even if there is a little noise in the background.

“You Sold Rock’n Roll” probably describes someone who has sold their rock’n roll soul to the music industry.
“Fascinate Styron” is a magnificent opening, timeless. Could also be a dream flashback. Has a slow-motion quality. Much is left to the listener to form their own opinion.
“Marathonic” is another unusual song. Very interestingly executed. It also feels avant-garde and anthem-like. Very vocal-oriented. The song isn’t in a hurry, taking its time to convey its message.
“Straight to Your Mouth” is a complex dance and rock blend with a soundtrack feel. Erotic lyrics sequences like “Your tongue in my Mouth” reveal what the song is actually about.
“Bazaar” is a powerful, bizarre song with different strong percussions. Lyric sequences like “Human to sell” clearly illustrate the theme.
“Spit the Blood” is a refreshing dance rock/pop number with a finale feel. This song leads into the final phase of the album, which becomes more profound, darker and serious. A transition to the nine-minute ballad.
“Seven Heaven,” a ballad primarily rooted in loneliness and sadness. Honesty and deep pain flow right up to the end of this unique ballad…
“Monsternight” draws the listener back into a powerful, dark and intriguing atmosphere full of complexity. This song performed as if in a frenzy.
“Grotesque World” closes the album. A driving, devout number intended to inspire reflection. Several levels of profundity are evident in the song. Musically, it is the heaviest and most complex song on the album.
