When did the initial idea for your latest single ‘Cruel World’ come together?
I started writing Cruel World when I first met my partner a few years back. We then finished it together last year.
How would you describe the track, to a reader that is unfamiliar with the band?
It’s a love song.
Can you tell us a bit more about the meaning behind the track?
It’s about finding something real and warm and natural and comforting in a cold and calculated world.
How would you say that the track compares to anything you’ve done before?
It is, like the album, much more Rock, Goth, Country and Pop than anything I’ve done before.
What was the hardest part about putting it together, and why?
The hardest part is finding my audience.
