Bomb Disposal

‘Ask why, get lies’

Hi everyone, back after feeling completely mashed with work and attending many live events, and I offer you a noisy little bastard from our Long Island brethren Car Bomb.
I can always count on my friend Lisa to send me something warped, with a severe case of intermittent explosive disorder, bringing with it a flamethrower to your summer BBQ.
Off we head into a night of ‘Tiles, Whisper, Dreams’ as we face all the ‘Blindsides’ the opener on this small but hedonistically incendiary package. The videos remind me of Transformers, as the weaponry asserts their competencies to dominate the skies. There are elements of conflict and compassion as the story depicts the ravages of engagement and the desolation it leaves behind. I love the last thirty seconds or so on this one, exquisitely mellow and preparing you for the beastly mutation that is ‘Paroxysm’ a lesson in hardcore parkour, we find ourselves hurtling into oncoming traffic.
Your desire for something that will create a noble and worthy mosh pit, replete with warriors destined for greatness, Car Bomb say hold my cattle prod, as they pillage across Europe.
The line up consists of Michael Dafferner – vocals, Elliot Hoffman – drums,
Greg Kubacki – bass and Jon Modell on guitar, the hosts of this musical Squid Game.
We finish with the title track, unforgiving in its nature, oozing an anger that spits and hisses like a Diamondback, it is strategically peppered with emotive junctures that promote a responsibility and kinship. There are multiple layers that are inviting and biting, a charge that I’m sure the band will stand by without question.
If you fancy a night on the tiles, then I’ll whisper in your dreams, in the meantime, slap on this monster and fling yourselves around the room, unholy and unhinged, Godspeed.
