Rockstar Energy Drink presents Parklife. One name that points to an unrivalled festival weekend boasting a who’s who of essential names. Commanding the festival conversation as the largest city festival in Europe and an agenda-setting date in the diary unlike anything else every summer – Parklife is that invitation everyone’s been waiting for. 2025 proved that and more – with a star-studded weekend of party culture under summer skies. No big deal.
Drawing across genre, style and scene – the highlights hitting Manchester’s Heaton Park over the weekend never stopped. Arguably THE most celebrated and talked about artist of the past 12 months, Charli xcx proved just why she commands the global pop conversation with a jaw-dropping headline set on Sunday. Marking over a year of ‘brat’ whilst celebrating Manchester’s club influence – tracks like ‘Von Dutch’, ‘Guess’, ‘Sympathy like a knife’, ‘Vroom Vroom’, ‘party 4 u’ and the collective moves of ‘Apple’ soundtracked one of the greatest headline shows in Parklife history. The night before (Saturday), 50 Cent returned to Heaton Park for a jukebox of undeniable hits that had Parklife moving. An icon in every sense of the word – singalongs rang out from a global hip-hop titan, with ‘In Da Club’, ‘Candy Shop’, ‘Many Men (Wish Death)’, ‘Ayo Technology’ and ‘P.I.M.P’ but a selection of a powerhouse moment.
A global destination for club and party culture, at every turn of Heaton Park there was a moment ready and waiting. Jorja Smith’s stunning set had the crowd singing every word back to her. Bou lit up Magic Sky with surprise appearances from Aitch and Window Kid, sending the crowd into overdrive with hometown pride. Over in the Hangar, Bicep delivered a mind bending close with their CHROMA AV DJ set, while Pawsa had the crowd bouncing to house bangers. The Valley also saw standout sets from Peggy Gou, Confidence Man and Mark Rebillet, each dialling the vibe all the way up. Overmono, Rudim3ntal and salute brought serious heat, with all female forces FLO and Girls Don’t Sync keeping the energy sky high. Parklife 2025 was a celebration of sound and culture – Manchester, you did it again.
2025 welcomed a bold new era with a reimagined site layout that put flow, energy and atmosphere at the forefront. At its core was the all new VIP area – a slick upgrade complete with panoramic views of The Valley main stage, luxury loos, glam stations, premium street food and an exclusive lounge bar. For those that were looking to level up even further, the brand new Backstage pass offered a private bar and chill zone with the best seats in the house, as well as side of stage access at The Hangar. For 2025 Parklife didn’t just go bigger – it got sharper, sleeker, and more dialled in than ever before.
