Interview: Peel

So how has your latest album/EP gone so far with fans then?

I think both singles “Someday/Someone” and “Love Phobia” have been well received by our fans; “peelgrims”.

Tell us something about the release no one knows?

If you play it backwards it is very different…hehe. It’s a bit of a boring answer. This release is transparent – what you hear is what you get! Nothing special with the process up to the release. The writing, recording and mixing was effortless and smooth.

If you could work with any band on a new song, who would it be and why?

It would be fun to collaborate with our fellow country men in A-HA. Though, and maybe because we are two totally different bands it would be great to work with them . We are huge fans.

How has your latest release been received?

“Love Phobia” has been received very well; good streaming numbers, airplay on rock radio and nice press. We are very happy with that and feel privileged.

Can you tell us about the meaning behind the track?

The song is about yet another relationship that goes wrong. A development in a love affair that grows in a direction where love, unity and affection dies and one ends up looking at each other as strangers. Love is replaced with mistrust and indifference, and it might even turn into hate. Too many of those experiences could make you develop a love phobia.

What tours do you have coming up, and what can you tell us about them?

We hope to get out on the road next year, but nothing is planned right now.

What venue are you most looking forward to playing the most, and why?

Every venue that wants us to come and play is a venue we look forward to playing.

What else can we expect from you in 2025?

More music. Our upcoming album “Big Sundown” will hopefully be released somewhere around springtime/summer.
