‘My disassociation is a blessing’
So, my friend Matty Awbery is back, bolder and brighter with his new outfit, Airtight, and as they open up a fresh canister of oxygen, gather round folks, and breathe it all in. More than adequately bolstered by Aaron Ross, Sam Jennings, Joe Jennings, and Sam Moss the quintet has already played some shows for the lucky few that managed to catch them. The guitars and drums amalgam at 1.42 is teen spirited -ahem- but altogether more enjoyable to hear it from a different angle. This is moderately paced grunge; it still has the pull of the 90’s Seattle scene and the baton charge of a riot squad who have kept their powder dry for too long.
It’s time to open up your airtight containers and release the magic within, once you inhale these vapours, it will be a hard habit to break.
