Italian trio SPLEEN announces their arrival in some style with the uber impressive ‘Dystopic School’ three-track debut.

Italian Punksters SPLEEN defies their age with a high-octane, smash-n-grab release of the nineties-alternative Grunge meets Emo meets Punk. Their music is a burst of energy that’s almost impossible to resist, especially when it shakes hands with the devil of catchiness. The opener and title track ‘Dystopic School’ slices and cuts every genre MTV abandoned with harnessed vocals, choppy guitars and some stunning  “cut my life into pieces” drumming. ‘Affected Kid’ sounds like Green Day kicking Radiohead’s ‘Creep’ around the schoolyard before the final offering of the reflective mood changer, ‘What’s Behind The Sun’. Get ready to be energized with some Spleen in your diet.
