Ingrid Andress Announces UK and Europe tour

Ingrid Andress’ current critically acclaimed album ‘Good Person’ has continued the huge breakthrough she made with her2020 debut ‘Lady Like’, a collection which set her on the path to exceeding a billion streams as well as earning three Grammy Award nominations. Her recent single ‘Wishful Drinking’ (with Sam Hunt) proved to be one of her biggest hits to date, landing a #1 at country radio in the US, as well as Platinum certification in the States.

Now Ingrid Andress announces her return to the UK and Europe with ‘The Good Person’ headline tour, which is scheduled for May 2023 and includes a London show at the Scala. On previous visits, Ingrid sold out London’s Courtyard Theatre and also played the C2C Festival in both London and Glasgow.

Ingrid says, “After a long wait (thank you to my fans for being so patient), I am so excited to finally head back over the pond for ‘The Good Person’ tour’! This one is definitely going to make up for missing out on the last 3 years – we’re going to sing sad songs together, the new *happy* songs, and so much more. I’m just so stoked to play my new album for everyone, especially in some places I’ve never been before, and see all my fans’ beautiful faces out there!”

Entirely co-written and co-produced by Ingrid‘Good Person’ returns to the reflection and confession at the core of the ‘Lady Like’ album and goes even deeper, giving Nashville-style songwriting a sleek pop-edge. Eager to push boundaries, Ingridcreated bold, experimental sounds that blended banjos with vocoders; swung from sweeping orchestration to spare, acoustic-based arrangements; and showcased previously unexplored parts of her vocal range.

‘Lady Like’ became the all-time highest streaming debut album from a female country artist upon its release, an achievement assisted by the immense popularity of its singles ‘More Hearts Than Mine’ and the title track. Outside of her own artist career, Ingrid is also an in-demand songwriter with credits for the likes of Charli XCXLANYBebe Rexha and FLETCHER.
