Diverging from previous high-energy and sultry servings of Glam-Rock, Måneskin have released their latest heartfelt single ‘The Loneliest.’

Following their flashy May single ‘SUPERMODEL,’ the Italian Rock quartet pour sincerity and vulnerability into this latest English-language track.

Written during a visit to LA, the song can be described as falling somewhere between a love letter and a confession. There is raw, beautiful tragedy to be found between the lines of the lyrics: “You’ll be the saddest part of me / A part of me that will never be mine / It’s obvious / Tonight is gonna be the loneliest.”

A somewhat quiet and sombre start is delivered by frontman Damiano David – a quivering fragility emerging through his consistent and strong vocal.

Gentle sadness unfurls into a roaring downpour as David fully bares his soul. The floodgates proceed to burst forth as listeners are united with fluttering waves of colourful guitar work – a comforting presence among the bleak and isolated atmosphere.

Måneskin are masters at delivering emotional scale and a bold, branded rock that resonates — ever proving their versatility as a band. ‘The Loneliest‘ is sure to have you swimming deep in your feels on a crisp and cloudy Autumn day.
