Shelter Me

So my friends we propel ourselves forward once more for the third round of ‘Moshin The Roof On’ as sadly the situation is even more chaotic and heart-breaking post lockdown. There is very little help for the most vulnerable in our society, in fact their existence and their plight makes those of us with some moral backbone hang our heads in shame. It is those who have little helping those who are in greater need than themselves. Not a good thing given we are in one of the richest countries in the world, but the fact that ordinary folk are upstanding and generous is exceptional and heartfelt.
Hellfekted begin this episode, make sure your skull is firmly attached to your upper vertebrae as the full-on Thrash fest commences. We have thirty extremely powerful, knuckle-grazing, throw yourself against a wall songs, straight out of the boiling cauldron and onto your brains. The list of suspects comprises a well-regarded bunch of artists, and I see my friends Scarred By Truth are here too.
Thrasherwolf come in at just shy of nine minutes with ‘Blood Moon’ an opus delivered as only us Thrashers know how. The persistence in the creativity and the delivery of these songs, mirrors our own efforts to help people who are struggling. An eyewatering selection of tunes, worthy of a mosh or thirty, a rich and varied tapestry, anthemic and emotionally charged, as I bounce around the house at top speed. Hang onto your ‘Hellbound Heart’ and experience More Death And Horror, something quite theatrical in the execution of this track.
Get your ‘Last Orders’ in folks and ‘Fuel The Fire’ in this ‘Merciless Onslaught’, unrelenting and insistent on conveying a vital message.
Check out this CD and those released previously and help raise the necessary funds for Shelter UK, details found at UK Thrashers Bandcamp.
The closing track is brought to us by Elimination, quite apt really as we work towards eliminating the root cause of homelessness and finding a permanent solution and shelter for everyone.
