So how has your latest album/EP gone so far with fans then?
I released my first EP, “New World”, a few months ago. I’ve received many compliments and good feedback from people who have followed my musical journey for a few years. While also got a lot of messages and praises from new fans who heard my music for the first time, either on social media and streaming services or in one of the films I composed music for. For example, “Like Me,” a movie I worked for in collaboration with a good friend, Itay Amram, is nominated for the Israeli academy award for best original music.
Tell us something about the release no one knows?
It took me much longer to work and released the album than I expected. There was always something I felt could be improved or changed, and it was a challenge for me to decide which track I should release in the EP and which ones should be released as singles later this year.
If you could work with any band on a new song, who would it be and why?
I admire contemporary composers that fuse electronic and organic sounds with acoustic and live instruments. I absolutely love the mixture of them. There are many talented musicians and composers I’d love to collaborate with and work on a mutual album or single. But if I have to choose one band, I think Gidge is probably one of my first choices. Their music is incredible and unique, starting with a tremendous structural base and great sound supported by beautiful motifs and melodies.
How has your latest release been received?
I get a lot of messages from people saying they liked the EP, especially the “Charm,” which is the most listened-to track on the album. Some found me on Spotify or Apple Music and had never heard my music before. It’s fascinating that my fan base is getting bigger, and people are looking forward to my new album/single.
What else can we expect from in 2022?
I’m currently working on several soundtracks for films and collaborations with talented artists and musicians. In addition, I’m planning to release a few more singles during the next few months, and hopefully, I can start working on a new album very soon!
