Hunting Hearts drop debut album Anybody Else

The genre-queer Trans Punk phenomenon Hunting Hearts have dropped their debut album Anybody Else, a collection of certified bangers which amplify their battle cries against capitalism and burgeoning industrial fascism.

Earlier this year, the Southampton based Punk quartet released two stellar singles – ‘Love You To Death,’ a track which overflows with passion and an undeniable electric energy, as well as pre-release ‘Anybody Else,’ which sees the band embodying true fighting spirit. With its ear-worm quality and captivating desperation, ‘Anybody Else‘ is certainly a standout on the debut record.

The penultimate track ‘Give Me Something‘ completes the “Heartstone Trilogy” of music videos dropped before the album’s release, placing fans at the thrilling climax of the drama.

Among the album, highlights include ‘No Guts,’ a track led by chanting full of thrust and a pure punk attitude which is both raw and honest in its delivery. ‘The Dance‘ takes a different approach to previous full-throttle tracks on this record – something twisted lurking in the shadows of this dark horse of a song, where a hypnotic soundscape meets poetic lyricism: “Your body’s the Earth, and my eyes are all stars.” ‘Don’t Let A Good Thing Go‘ is stripped back comparatively, as heartfelt acoustics bloom into something bigger and bolder, meanwhile ‘Get Running‘ finds listeners amid a fast-paced and frantic headbanger, with Beck’s vocals bleeding a new kind of gritty and gravelly sound over a frenzy of godly guitar work.

Anybody Else solidifies Hunting Hearts as leaders making fresh and innovative waves of impact in the Punk genre, crafting their own light and signature sound which many will find shelter in and use as weaponry against a dark and bleak world.
