The Cumbria-via-Manchester four piece Deathretro are gearing up to release their debut self-titled EP across all platforms on 10 December 2021 via Cosmic Glue.

Based in Manchester and now joined by drummer and producer Grant Henderson, members Kie, Adrian and Boone’s upcoming ten-track release follows the group’s recent ‘Electric Rooms’ EP, which came hot off the heels of triumph singles ‘Edge of Nothing’ and ‘Black Lights.’

The Deathretro LP excites the ear attuned to the likes of Death From Above 1979, The Rapture and Fontaines DC. From the addictive grip of opening track ‘Black Lights,’ the heady concoction of electrical buzz and lyrical prose found on ‘Blind Panic,’ to the rocking final blow of ‘Pistols,’ each track packs raw punch. With lashings of infectious guitar, assured vocal delivery and layered synth, this serving of electronic-skewered disco punk energy is sure to induce a bout of head-bopping with its off-beat danceability.

Deathretro’s cohesive fizz combined with their distinct sound has placed them firmly in the soil of the British post/punk scene, certainly a debut that is not to be missed!

The Deathretro LP is available to purchase pressed on limited edition 12” vinyl, on CD or as a digital download copy here.

Deathretro is Kie (Vox & Synth), Adrian (Guitar), Boone (Bass and Vox) & Grant (Drums & production).
