South London Skangsters Buster Shuffle return with a new project for 2022. The festival favourite’s founding member Jet posted this statement below.

Jet from Buster Shuffle here with some exciting news on how you can help us release our new DIY album ‘Go Steady’! As I’m sure you’ll appreciate, the last couple of years has been a tough time for us independent musicians with the live industry only just starting to get back on its feet after the devastating effects of the pandemic. Buster Shuffle’s financial lifeblood has always come from us working hard on the road and when this was taken away from us, like so many of our fellow independent
musicians, we were left in a very tough position. Still, we pulled ourselves up by our bootstraps
and decided to soldier on as a band by getting in the studio and making a new album!
I’m pleased to bring you the news that our new record ‘Go Steady’ is now finished with 10 brand new Buster Shuffle tracks ready to be released into the ska meets rockney meets punk
universe! Here’s where we need your help….
Buster Shuffle has always been an independent band with a DIY ethos. You guys – our fans –
have kept us going for over 10 years now and as we enter this new chapter with the new album,
we’ve decided to ask for your help to release the album in March 2022 and get this new music out to you guys!
As it stands, the album has been recorded, mixed and mastered, but we still have some huge
upcoming costs like manufacturing and marketing that we’ll struggle to afford without the support of you guys. So, we have launched a Crowdfunding Campaign where you can pre-order ‘Go Steady’ on CD, vinyl and cassette, plus a load of other cool perks! These include:
– New design T-Shirts
– Hand-written lyric sheets
– Test pressing vinyls
– You can book us to play an acoustic gig at your house or party
– You can be in a Buster Shuffle music video & much much more!
