Single Review: The Big Dirty – Swine out now

A Swine Of A Time

My friends it’s movie night and time for a film, that may be short, but is beautifully crafted and features our very own suicide squadron comprising The Big Dirty boys and a stellar cast of ruffians. Set in a country mansion, guarded by security pigs- oink and you’ll miss them- our intrepid heroes find themselves embroiled in the meat shack that is the music industry. Danny, the Drunken Master, is the rap maestro looking for an opportunity and instead finds a weaselly web of wanton tergiversation, phew! The song itself is music to my ears, a rap/rock fusion that delights in blowing away our lockdown blues in piggin’ style. With an eye for the scenic, Mr Datson strums his own jailhouse rock while Tobi and JC have their eye on the ladies.

Man on fire Jonny Rocket collides with the head honcho in a battle of epic swinery to defeat the nefarious and come out clean on the other side. An immensely entertaining piece, that exudes a passion and a craziness that we can all relate too. The Big Dirty add their talents to the expanding list of artists that have been very busy during the pandemic, so that we the consumer have something to believe in and hold on to. A fun-filled adventure into saving a friend and crushing our foes, so get on board this spirited ride into the night that is a potent mix of  sinister and sass served up in a pint glass,  so pick a side folks, it’s time to cast your pearls.
