Into it’s third year, Reading Rising, the popular annual showcase of fantastic bands from Reading and the surrounding area is taking place on the 18th December 2021.

| Joining P2M at the Facebar’s dual, no-clash stages are alt-metal quintet DEFENCES, diverse prog-metallers Arcaeon, Lastelle bring their atmospheric and emotionally fuelled post-hardcore and anthemic alt-rockers InAir, who fuse cleans and synths with exceptional riffage. As if that wasn’t enough reason to get excited, Transients are set to deliver their brutal melodic metalcore, Forlorn will be crossing genres with their atmospheric riffmastery, angry alt-rock from Lake Acacia, frenetic post-hardcore from Tether and Weaponry and the conceptually creative prog-rock of three piece Mercury’s Well.
