| Amping up to the release of their incoming second album “Happier”, As December Falls are looking forward to their UK headline tour this winter, and have put out a search for local talent to open for them in their local city on the Happier Tour, set to start in Newcastle on 18th November. Already boasting five sold-out shows (London, Manchester, York, Newcastle and their hometown of Nottingham), As December Falls want to give new and emerging artists the opportunity to get back on stage after 15 months without live music. There is an opportunity for 13 new bands to be discovered as As December Falls look for a local opening act from each city on their UK headline tour. If you and your band want to be in with a chance of joining As December Falls on tour at your local venue, you’ll need to register your interest here. Bethany and the gang explain more: “The last 15 months have been really tough for everyone in the live industry and most musicians have had to put their careers on hold all together. We’ve done our best to adapt to the challenges of covid and lockdown and we can’t thank our fans enough for helping us get through it – it’s been tough! It got us thinking about all the fledgling acts that have been sitting at home, writing tons of new music, bummed out about not being able to rehearse, record or play live as regularly as we did when we first started out. So when it came to putting our headline tour together, we knew we wanted to try and find the best new bands in each city to join us for a long overdue live show in their hometown.” Competition closes at midnight on 13th August 2021. One entry per band, entrants must be 18+ on date of performance and [at least two members of the band must be based within 30 miles of the venue they are applying for].
