Mason Hill release cover of Foo Fighters’ ‘Best of You’

Glaswegian rockers, Mason Hill, continue their stratospheric ascent, announcing another 7 UK headline shows October 2020 to add to their previously announced 17 dates in September 2020. With support from Hollowstar and Empyre, the Against The Wall tour is looking like a great success with Gravesend selling out within 48 hours and many other venues close to sell out.

The tour follows the recent release of their debut album which stormed into the UK national album chart at number 19, achieving a coveted top 20 album position. The long awaited album, which received critical acclaim from both media and fans alike, also charted at number 1 in the March UK rock album chart, the first time a British rock band has debuted with their album in the UK Top 20 since Royal Blood back in 2014!

To celebrate their continuing success, Mason Hill release a cover version of the Foo Fighters classic Best Of You, April 23rd. The track was a key part of their album campaign and due to fan requests to have the track released, it is being made available on all worldwide streaming platforms – Listen & Watch Here

It is an incredible achievement for new British rock band, starting from an almost zero sales base and during a pandemic when there has been no traditional retail, no live shows or touring opportunities. The innovative marketing campaign run by both 7Hz Productions (ADA) and the band involved a six month fan building initiative utilised the band social platforms, streaming performances, virtual ‘in store’ launch events, dark ad audience building and strategic media take over promotions.

It is not only UK fans who have taken to the record, in Germany the band have seen a huge uplift in airplay where they are presently trending in the top 15 German rock airplay charts with their single D.N.A and are also top 10 in the Heavy 1 French radio chart.
