One of the most known songs of the 00’s, Crawling, from Linkin Park, got a Symphonic Metal version by Aline Happ, Lyria’s vocalist. With influences of Celtic, Folk and Gothic elements, the cover reinforces the strong feelings expressed in the lyrics composed by the members of the American rock band.
“This is a very powerful song. Recently, The Hybrid Theory album turned 20 and Linkin Park is one of my favorite bands, so I wanted to pay tribute to them.”, comments Aline Happ.

The music video for “Crawling” was released in 2001, which is the second single from the album “Hybrid Theory”. The video was nominated for Best Rock Video at the VMA, a MTV award, and the song won a Grammy for Best Hard Rock Performance. While the video shows the story of a woman trapped in an abusive relationship, the lyrics can have several interpretations such as childhood abuse, toxic relationships, anxiety and even the use of meth and the struggle with sobriety by the vocalist Chester Bennington, who died in 2017.
