OriginalRock.net writer and true friend Zoe Marchment sadly lost her battle with Pancreatic Cancer on 30th December 2020 at the age of 29.

Zoe has been fantastic while writing for the website and has been a friend to many including myself (Kieran James). I first met Zoe at Teddy Rocks Festival 2017 where we quickly became friends and since went to number of gigs together Our Hollow Our Home’s ‘Holloween’ at The Talking Heads and BBC Radio One Rocks at Maida Vale Studios, to name a few!

Zoe then went on to review a number of albums including two from Bury Tomorrow, ‘Black Flame’ and her last ever piece for OriginalRock.net ‘Cannibal’

Zo’s talent’s didn’t stop there though as she went on to interview a number of bands including Currents’ Brian Wille…

…and Energy’s Jason Tankerley just to name a few!

But Zoe was more than just a keen writer for OriginalRock.net, Zoe had so many skilful traits and made sure that when with her that you were always happy and that’s something I will never forget and will forever be in my heart. We managed to raise £350 in total for Pancreatic Cancer back in November through two separate nights of fundraising with the main event being Zo’s Fest back in 18th November.

Zoe, you were taken too soon and now you can rock on eternally 💜💜 sleep well my fren 💜
