2021 Ones to Watch: President Street

President Street are the band from down-under who are giving listeners the positivity needed to see us through the rest of this pandemic.

Whether it’s their latest single, ‘Something to Believe’ hitting the top 5 in the charts – alongside fellow Melbournian Dannii Minogue – or a partnership with refugee charity Breaking Barriers, it’s clear that this band has truly selfless values at the heart of their beliefs, and will stop at nothing to spread joy during this difficult time.

It seems this band is truly an unstoppable force of nature, even taking it upon themselves to film the music video for ‘Something to Believe’ in their home, on an iPhone camera – the result was over 30,000 YouTube views and countless positive reviews from the assembled music press.

Born from Pete Moses’ discovery of his passion for music production, in partnership with vocalist Ruby, President Street is the creative collective who refuse to be constrained to one genre. Tentatively labelled as “pop fusion”, these exciting combinations of pop, dance, drum ‘n’ bass and more led President Street to embark on multiple successful tours of the UK, and even had a tour of Japan confirmed before the pandemic outbreak.

But, nothing can keep this duo down, even in 2020. With uplifting lyrics and catchy melodies, President Street are one of the most vital pop acts going forward, as we move into 2021. Don’t miss out on giving these guys a spin before they hit the big time!
