You’ve probably heard this band’s name by now. If you’ve heard it once, you’re going to remember it, right?! We at Original Rock have been championing this band for quite some time now, and are super excited to be hosting the premiere for their new video for cracking single, ‘Daylight’.
‘Daylight’ is song which takes the best bits from rock legends such as Bruce Springsteen and updates the sound, making it sound both utterly of the moment, and timeless simultaneously. The song begins with waves of synth, brushing over the more syncopated percussion to create an intriguing texture, before building up into a full-blown soft rock number about the power of love.
The video is a sprawling epic, condensed into four minutes – a love story against the odds featuring evil scientists, a secret base in the middle of the wild, and, yes, aliens.
‘Daylight’ is taken from the aliens’ debut album, Arrival, which has seen the band rack up over 100,000 streams on Spotify – impressive numbers for a band who are only just starting out.
