Season of Ghosts recently released a video for their song “What a time to be alive”, in the form of an inspirational fan project that took place during worldwide lockdowns and global unrest caused by the effects of COVID-19.
As the band previously stated: “We’re making a music video and we want you to be part of it. Why? 2020 has been quite an unusual year so far, but the key to going forward is sticking together and supporting each other. Let’s create a memory to celebrate this!”
The video features videos, photos and fanart from people all around the world, as well as glimpses of members Sophia and Zombie Sam and touring members Paul and Max themselves. Notable references to the prophetic novels,1984 and Brave New World, are also made during the video.
