Hailing from Wales and spending his time creating truly exceptional soundscapes online, bleepeater has already uploaded at least 22 tracks to his Bandcamp page since January. His latest release, “Pedalesque Part 1”, dropped into my inbox during this past week.
Take the best of / any combination of Zappa’s “Lumpy Gravy” if it was made today, electronically, instead of on analogue instruments in 1967 / 1968; Stravinsky, Cage, Porcupine Tree; the orgasm / trip sequences of Zeppelin’s Lotta Love or Queen’s Get Down Make Love; and you won’t be anywhere near prepared for the aural depths that Pedalesque plumbs! The greater the volume, the more layers you will discover!!
If you’re not familiar with any of this work then bleepeater‘s “Pedalesque Part 1”, and a needle-drop onto any of his other work, will awaken your ears to a new and broader listening experience.
