DIY darlings Thrillhouse return with new single, Wild Child.
Wild Child follows singles One of These Days, Lesser and Ready When You Are which grabbed all who heard them; including Radio X’s John Kennedy, half of the DJs at KEXP, and Amazing Radio.
A personal message to singer Sam Strawberry’s dad, Wild Child was written to let him know, he’s done alright.
“Did you ever wonder what was coming? As the lanes divided. From the open road to the back of the line…It moves so fast”
As is becoming a Thrillhouse signature, sincere subject matter is offset with uplifting instrumentation, Wild Child delves into the passing of time and family with a joyous backdrop of 80’s groove.
Taking inspiration from Bowie, Prince and Tina Turner, Wild Child is a synth-pop sing along with a deeper message.
Recorded entirely at home. Mixed at The Silk Mill, Staffordshire, Wild Child was released on July 17th on Seymour Butz Records.
