‘The Faces Don’t Fit’ is the third E.P offering from the East Midlands finest Aldi party pack Punks, Kid Klumsy. With former Dirt Box Disco frontman Weab front ‘n centre the Kid Klumsy aura is naturally close to that of his former band. Weab’s distinct vocal and lyrical style is forcefully evident throughout as ‘The Faces Don’t Fit’ fills a huge politically incorrect punk hole that exists in 2020. The E.P’s opening salvo is the infantile, Carry On-Esque and tik-tok catchy Punk anthem that is, ‘Boobs’. “Wandering eyes, mammary glands” and having trouble while attempting to stand with a stiffie are all whisked into this perfect yet desperately imperfect Klumsy cut.

‘Boobs’.

Next up is the chant inducing, arm-waving and sound shifting self-deprecating ‘Don’t Count On Me’ before ‘Little Boy Thursday’ kicks the Toy Dolls in the giblets with steel booted Dead Kennedy’s riff. ‘The Lost Art’ drunkenly lobs street poetry at the chip van while the bruising guitar, bass and drum bring it all together before cold ‘Soup’ is venomously spat over enemies at breakneck speed.

Of all the available cover versions ‘Caravan Of Love’ may have been the last one I would bet on Kid Klumsy attempting. It’s a high-speed car crash that is bound to go down a live storm on next year’s alternative festival circuit. ‘The Faces Don’t Fit’ further proves that Weab & Co have the infectious musical arsenal to invade and conquer any venue or festival stage from Bognor to Blackpool.

‘The Faces Don’t Fit’ is out on August 1st on STP Records, to purchase the E.P direct go to, http://www.stprecords.co.uk/
