It’s always fizzy and refreshing to get a new DeRellas track drop into your inbox and their latest single ‘Inner City Rock ‘N’ Roll’ blows across the keyboard like a Glam-Punk sherbert explosion. The opening riff and chip chop guitar razor cuts the rhyming tabloid lyrics while the chorus gets some extra legs from a rumbling bass bridge. The DeRellas continually deliver and ‘Inner City Rock ‘N’ Roll’ is two and half minutes of Tin Pan Alley, Pistols B-sides Spunk ‘N’ Roll all shabbily dressed in American PVC, slutty cosmetics and the obligatory spotty scarf’s. ‘Inner City Rock ‘N’ Roll’ is another filth smothered DeRellas pop-shot winner.
The DeRellas will release a new album at the tail end of this weirdest of years.
