Billie Joe Armstrong continues his lockdown sessions with a cover of the Eighties hit ‘Kids In America’. The song was originally a hit for Kim Wilde in 1981 where it reached No.2 in the UK and No.25 in the US respectively. He has dedicated the song to bandmate Mike Dirnt.
The song was also covered by punk outfit The Muffs in 1995 for the soundtrack to the movie ‘Clueless’
