FROM THE JAM and THE SELECTER announce a joint nationwide tour for a double 40th album celebration.

Tour dates a go-go

From The Jam and The Selecter are buddying up for an extensive autumnal and winter UK tour. From The Jam will be celebrating the ‘Sound Affects’ 40th anniversary while The Selecter will also be sticking the same number of candles on their legendary ‘Too Much Pressure’ albums cake.

Pauline Black & Arthur ‘Gaps’ Henderson from The Selecter.

The Selecter is one of the original 2-Tone bands that lit a post-Punk fuse under the youth of Britain back in 1979. The hit singles ‘On My Radio’, ‘Three Minute Hero’ and ‘Missing Words’ still sound as vital as they did four decades ago. Between 2011-2018 the band released five albums ‘Made In Britain’, ‘String Theory’, ‘Subculture’, ‘Daylight’ and the ‘Live At The Roundhouse’ album recorded at (surprise surprise) The Camden Roundhouse while on a co-headline tour with The Beat in 2017.

Former Jam and Stiff Little Fingers bassist Bruce Foxton takes to the air.

From The Jam are always a live favourite amongst fans of The Jam new and old. The bands constant set list mix up keeps the punters returning with each passing tour and anniversary. The band released ‘Smash The Clock’ under the Bruce Foxton banner in 2016 and a live album, ‘From The Jam-Live’ in 2017.

The tour kicks off on September 17th in Newcastle and ends in January 21st 2021 in Leamington Spa.
