Travis release video for ‘Kissing in the Wind’

In the year that has seen the band celebrate the 20th anniversary of their breakthrough year, Travis have revealed the video for their captivating new single ‘Kissing In The Wind’. The track is the band’s first new music since 2016.

Directed by the band’s very own Fran Healy, the video features footage from their critically acclaimed film ‘Almost Fashionable – A Film About Travis’, as well as live footage recorded in Mexico following the band’s appearance at Corona Festival in November. Speaking of the video Fran said “The video was made using archive footage from the documentary I made about us, which had its premiere on Sky Arts at the weekend. I used the demo of the song at the end of the doc”.

Written and produced by front man Fran Healy and mixed by Darrel Thorpe, ‘Kissing In The Wind’ was recorded at RAK Studios in London during September 2019. The track, wrapped with Fran’s infectious poignant melodies and a beautiful string arrangement, grew into a single across the band’s 2018 tour.

Travis are singer/guitarist Fran Healy, bassist Dougie Payne, guitarist Andy Dunlop and drummer Neil Primrose.
