Boomtown Fair, one of the UK’s largest independent festivals, is celebrating the twelfth chapter of this musically diverse and theatrically led, 66,000 capacity event by releasing a series of headline acts ahead of its February lineup announcements.

It’s first major artist release for 2020 is London based rapper Kano. A MOBO winning performer who is a true powerhouse of the grime scene and a musical pioneer whose lyrics are an exceptional social commentary on contemporary life, Kano will close the festival on the majestic Lion’s Den the greatest of Boomtown’s stages. Following the release of his 6th album Hoodies All Summer and sellout tour that culminated in a one off show at the Royal Albert Hall, Kano’s heart, passion, energy, political voice and allout talent absolutely sets the tone for the long list of artists that the festival has up its sleeve.
