Lazybones set for new track ‘Trash Talk’ and announce UK tour

Formed in late 2017, Brighton-based alt-rock trio Lazybones are due to release their latest explosive track ‘Trash Talk’ to SaySomething Records on October 9th.

‘Trash Talk’, recorded by Ben Hampson of Agricultural Audio (Noel Gallagher, Bloc Party), is about “That moment when you know you’re about to say something you’ll regret, when you’re right on the edge and you just can’t stop it,” vocalist Candi Underwood explains.

Inspired by the likes of Black Sabbath, Sex Pistols and Chas & Dave, using a fuzzy bass guitar, an amplified organ and drums, Lazybones create a trashy, unapologetic, to-the-point British sound.

Their debut EP ‘Bang! Bang!’, containing fan favourites ‘Heart Beat Like A Drum’, ‘Fashion Victim’ and ‘Denim’ were picked up by the likes of BBC Radio 1 Rock Show, BBC Radio 1 Hype Chart, BBC Radio 1 Indie Show, Kerrang!, Clash Magazine amongst others.

After a successful UK tour in early 2019, their series of fast-paced live shows coupled with their nostalgic, DIY approach has fast become a talking point.

Trash Talk’s release accompanies the announcement of their latest UK tour which will see them play the following:

24.10.19   Nottingham – Albert’s

25.10.19   London – The Waiting Rooms

27.10.19   Liverpool – Jacaranda

01.11.19   Cardiff – The Moon

02.11.19   Birmingham – The Flapper

03.11.19   Milton Keynes – Craufurd Arms

21.11.19   Brighton – Latest Music Bar

Trash Talk is due for release October 9th via SaySomething Records and will be available on all major platforms.
