Bowling For Soup Present cover of ‘Let Your Love Flow’

With their 25th year as a band now in full flow, Texan pop punk maestros Bowling For Soup have released a new track before their return to UK shores later this month.

Dropping just a couple of days ago, Bowling For Soup have release their take on Let Your Love Flow, a song originally released by The Bellamy Brothers. This is the latest in a series of covers that “BFS” will be releasing throughout their 25th anniversary year.

For the reasons why Let Your Love Flow was chosen to be given a Bowling For Soup makeover, here’s their frontman Jaret Reddick:

“This song is just such a classic. I remember hearing it, literally everywhere as a kid. But when it really got me, was on the movie Little Darlings. I was probably too young to be watching that movie, but I loved it. Mostly because I was very much in love with both Tatum O’Neal and Kristy McNichol. Those crushes last well into puberty by the way…So I sang this song to myself an awful lot! It was fun putting a straight forward pop-punk spin on the one!”

Bowling For Soup’s UK army of fans don’t need to wait much longer for their next dose of the band in their home away from home. For the August bank holiday weekend Bowling For soup will return to Reading and Leeds Festivals for the first time in sixteen years. BFS will headline the Lock Up Stage, playing Reading on the Friday and Leeds on the Saturday, the same day The 1975 headline the main stage.

Reading Festival 2019 is now completely sold out. Limited tickets remain for Leeds Festival 2019, and tickets for Leeds Festival 2019 can be obtained here.
