William Lawrence is a songwriter and musician based in Hudson Valley, New York. He started playing drums and singing in the chorus at school as a young kid and began writing his own music when he was a teenager. After many years of writing and recording, he is now taking is songs on the road and releasing a new album called “Slow Dancing on a High Wire,” out August 1st on Triangle House Records. His music draws from various genres – rock, folk, RnB – but is primarily always focused on good storytelling.
He is currently a touring and recording member of The Felice Brothers. He has recorded and toured as a band member with Conor Oberst, Gun Outfit, Mail the Horse, and others.
When not on tour, William lives in Philmont, NY.
