Shattered is located in the Tampa, Florida area and founded in 2014. Its very hard to describe the type of metal they play because it’s a mix of Hardcore, Thrash, Death Metal and a old school / new school twist. Everyone in the band are veteran musicians and bring that special dynamics to the band that makes us so unique.
Their first Cd called “PRIDE” was released October 4th 2017 which was delayed from a setback of loosing members, and having to copyright our songs & band name before completion. Shattered has shared the stage with many national acts and looking for our big break in the industry. We are currently working with From The Depths Entertainment. They are even sponsored by Sinister Guitar Picks and Fireball Whiskey. You can find the band’s CD on most media sites. We caught up with Shattered for an interview!
So how has your latest album/EP gone so far with fans then?
Hello, im Tony Pettry of Shattered. Our previous ep named Pride did very well. The new up coming album named Skinwalker is in the works and it sounds amazing. We made a teaser video and have gotten back a lot of good feedback.
Tell us something about the release no one knows?
Well, Shattered is transitioning between Death Metal and Black Metal so this is becoming very interesting.
If you could work with any band on a new song, who would it be and why?
My favorite band is King Diamond so it would be the King for sure. Having our vocalist Fred and the King on the same song would be epic. I would even consider retiring from music because what else bigger than that could I accomplish? LOL
How has your latest single been received?
We will be releasing a single in the next couple months so stay tuned.
Can you tell us about the meaning behind the track?
All I will tell you is its about transformation and a epic story.
What tours do you have coming up, and what can you tell us about them?
Shattered will be start touring in 2020 after our album is released. We have a huge show in December with Nile and Terrorizor.
What venue are you most looking forward to playing the most, and why?
I would love to play the Cleveland Agora once more because I have so many great memories there.
What else can we expect from in 2019?
Keep an eye out for our new album named Skinwalker and a tour shortly after.
