SUE is a Noise Rock/Post-Punk/Punk Rock band from the West Midlands, England. Known for their wild performances and scratchy punk sound, they have been parading around with confidence and an obvious passion for what they do. Their wails and whines, their distorted tones and frantic rhythms will grip you from start to finish. They embrace the chaos that lies within all creativity; they love what they do and have a fantastic time doing it. The band recently released album It Will Never End which you can check out below!
We caught up with the band as they talked about their latest album and more!
So how has your latest album gone so far with fans then?
They seem to be enjoying it, got some nice reviews as well which has been pretty encouraging.
Tell us something about the release no one knows?
I (Elliot here) mixed and mastered the thing myself. Nearly drove me mad but I managed it.
If you could work with any band on a new song, who would it be and why?
Metz, they’re one of the best Noise rock band about at the moment. I love their stuff.
How has your latest single been received?
Can you tell us about the meaning behind the track?
‘Gotta Gotta Gotta’ got a nice response, it’s about wanting to run away and start again.
What tours do you have coming up, and what can you tell us about them?
We don’t have any tours planned at the moment, but we do have a headline show on the 30th August at the Flapper, Birmingham. The Flapper is a really cool rock bar, we’ve played there a couple times.
What venue are you most looking forward to playing the most, and why?
As I said The Flapper is a really cool venue. The venue is a has a dirty basement sort of vibe, suits the band quite nicely.
What else can we expect from in 2019?
We’re trying to get some more shows together and we’re going to be releasing a spilt EP with some cool bands around our local scene. Keep an eye out for that.
