Live Review: Hollywood Undead and Loathe at O2 Academy Bournemouth

Hollywood Undead played Bournemouth’s O2 Academy last month as a packed out crowd were in full voice throughout. Liverpool band Loathe started the evening’s proceedings as they certainly brought some heaviness to the gig.

With plenty of mosh-pits from the start, you can tell how much potential these lads have. They started with The Cold Sun which quickly followed by It’s Yours. Dance on My Skin and self titled single Loathe were also played on the night as well as a new song they played.

Loathe finished on Babylon… which certainly left fans wanting more. You can tell that this band will one day headline venues such as this and they certainly had their own fan base in full support on the night.

As the main band of the night started to take to the stage, lots of fans were showing off their signature bandanna’s to show full support of Hollywood Undead. The LA based band certainly knew how to pump up a crowd as they began with Whatever It Takes and California Dreaming that included lots of sparks on the stage. Undead then followed as Loathe began to show their support too watching on in their VIP section.

After a selection of sons, Hollywood Undead then played Comin’ In Hot and got a member of the crowd to join him who certainly didn’t dissapoint and played superbly throughout the song. Bullet and Riot were also performed after this one as vocalist Dylan ‘Funny Man’ Alvarez certainly lived up to his name entertaining the crowd in between songs.

The ever popular Everywhere I Go and Day of the Dead finished on the encore as plenty of confetti shot out leaving fans with plenty of joy.
