Last month the very first details of Vans Warped Tour’s mammoth 25th-anniversary show were announced, and since then acts have been getting confirmed left, right and centre
The largest travelling rock festival in America will be kicking off with a preliminary event at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio on June 8, before moving on to the main event in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on June 29 and 30.
Given that this will be a major milestone for a rock festival that has seen some significant highs and lows over the past two decades, hopes among fans are sky-high.
We’ve been trying to keep up with the breakneck pace of information coming out over the last couple of weeks, so here’s everything you need to know right now about Warped Tour 2019.
It Will Be a Nostalgia Fest
It’s not every day that a festival turns a quarter of a century old, so Vans are naturally going all out with the nostalgia overload. Aside from the roster of acts that will take you right back to your teenage emo days, the entire Atlantic City leg of the festival is going to be one big tribute to the history of Warped Tour.
It was recently confirmed that a two-storey ‘History of Warped Museum’ is being constructed on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, where lifelong fans can congregate to wade through the mud and cider-stained history of the festival and its highlights.
After much speculation, it has also been confirmed that the one band most heavily associated with Warped, A Day to Remember, will indeed be playing a special anniversary show.
All Venues Confirmed
All venues and locations for Warped 2019 have officially been confirmed. This year will be a 3-stop tour in Cleveland, Atlantic City, and Mountain View, California. The Atlantic City stop will be the main leg of the tour, as well as the first time that Warped has set foot in the city.
The boardwalk will be taken over by the festival, which is building a motocross course, skate park, and human cannon on site. In addition, attendees can also visit the iconic casinos which overlook the boardwalk.

All Main Acts Are Now Confirmed
Acts have been announced almost every single day for the past two weeks, and we’re now convinced that everything is now confirmed. As you guessed, nostalgia is the overriding theme here, with the bookings consisting almost exclusively of 2000s-era legends.
Scene queen Jeffrey Star was recently announced to be playing, for the first time since Warped 2009. Also playing are Bowling for Soup, Blink-182, A Day to Remember, Good Charlotte, Simple Plan, Taking Back Sunday, and The Used, to name just a few.
