Hong Kong alternative rockers Seasons for Change debut ‘Anchor’

Seasons for Change have announced their debut full-length album. The Hong Kong based melodic rockers are also debuting their brand new single & video via Dreambound.

“Anchor” announces the release of the band’s upcoming album ‘Petals of Tomorrow’, set for release on June 21st, 2019 via Famined Records (US & Europe) & Seeahole (Asia).

Hong Kong breakouts Seasons for Change made their entrace in 2016 with the release of ‘Timeless Collective’ EP and have come a long way since, with their delightfully executed melodic rock sound. Delivering the best of guitar-led hooks, soaring melodies and a chemistry belying their relative inexperience, Seasons for Change take influence from the like of Paramore and Linkin Park, as well as the 00s emo/alternative revolution.

Headline tours across Asia, sets at Heartown and Wake Up Festivals and supports with the likes of Blessthefall and Our Last Night have established Seasons for Change as a formidable emerging name in the Asian market. Musically, their emotive, heart-on-sleeve and beautifully delivered pop-rock purrs gracefully in between driving and pinpoint guitar work, with the band bridging pop and alternative with delicious hooks and an enthralling urgency.

Picking up accolades such as regional winners of Vans’ Musicians Wanted last year, as well as Alternative Press’ 10 Hong Kong bands you need to know, has further buoyed the momentum of the young quintet, moving into the release of their debut full-length, set for release in June.

‘Petals of Tomorrow’ showcases a new layer of ambition for Seasons of Change; instrumentally expansive and a fuller rock tone, only enriching the melodic injections and infectious lyricism with which the band is quickly becoming associated.

‘Petals of Tomorrow’ is set for release on June 21st, 2019, with lead single “Anchor” out now on YouTube and Spotify.
